‘Rest well Romeo’ – Anthony Baffoe mourns late Black Stars physical trainer

Former Black Stars player, Anthony Baffoe has reacted to the passing of national team physical trainer Romeo Rickey Roy.
In a post on X, Mr. Baffoe prayed for Romoe to have a peaceful rest after his demise.
“Rest well Romeo -may your soul rest in eternal peace,” Anthony Baffoe said in a post on X.
He added, “We never know when is our time -only God knows -live to the fullest..sad sad sad.”
Romeo Ricky Roy, the physical trainer of Ghana's Black Stars, reportedly tragically passed away on Sunday, April 28.
Roy gained widespread recognition in 2020 when he saved a player's life during a Division One League match between Vision FC and Agbozume Weavers.
This heroic act propelled him into the spotlight and ultimately led to his inclusion in the Black Stars' backroom staff in 2021.
