In a thrilling USL League One encounter on Saturday, Ropapa Mensah's goal helped Chattanooga Red Wolves SC secure a 1-1 draw against Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC.

The Ghanaian forward demonstrated his class by scoring a crucial goal in the first half, which ultimately earned his team a valuable point.

Prior to the game, the head-to-head record between the two sides stood at one win for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, two wins for Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, and three draws. Despite Northern Colorado dominating possession and taking more shots throughout the match, Mensah's clinical finish proved to be the difference maker.

The game took place at the CHI Memorial Stadium, where Mensah started and played the entire 90 minutes. In the 40th minute, he scored a right-footed shot from the center of the box, finding the bottom right corner of the goal. The assist was provided by Mayele Malango, who played a crucial role in the build-up.

However, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC managed to salvage a point in the dying moments of the game. Ethan Hoard scored a header from the center of the box in the 9th minute of stoppage time, assisted by Isidro Martínez's cross following a corner.

Mensah has been in impressive form this season, having played three games, scored four goals, and provided one assist in the league. Chattanooga Red Wolves SC will look to build on this result when they face South Georgia Tormenta FC in their next league game.
