Samuel Sarfo: Former Liberty defender on target as Al Khaleej lose to Ohod

Published on: 26 September 2019

Ghanaian international Samuel Sarfo enjoyed a good day at the office yesterday when he found the back of the net for his Al Khaleej side in their 3-1 defeat to Ohod in Saudi Arabia.

The center-back has cemented a place in team's starting lineup and was handed another start when the two to clubs locked horns at the Al Khaleej Club Stadium.

Formerly of Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, Samuel Sarfo scored on the 46th minute to restore parity for his side after Hussain Al Sheik had given Ohod the lead with his strike on the 26th minute.

Despite that goal, Ohod went on to win the game courtesy goals from Mohammed Al Ghamdi and Mohammed Al Enezi late in the match.

This was Samuel Sarfo’s 4th goal of the season for Al Khaleej as he continues to impress in the ongoing campaign.
