Scott, White and Asante enter WSL Hall of Fame
Ellen White played in six major tournaments for England, culminating in winning Euro 2022
Former England internationals Jill Scott, Ellen White and Anita Asante have been inducted into the Women's Super League Hall of Fame.
Scott and White were part of the Lionesses team which won Euro 2022, before ending their playing careers.
Asante, who earned 71 England caps, won five English league titles and four FA Cups with Arsenal.
The trio are the third group inducted into the WSL Hall of Fame, which launched in 2021.
Chelsea manager Emma Hayes and former England internationals Rachel Yankey and Fara Williams were the first women inducted.
Another four ex-Lionesses - Karen Carney, Eni Aluko, Katie Chapman and Kelly Smith - were given the award in 2022.
Anita Asante has moved into coaching with England U23s and WSL side Bristol City since she retired from playing
As well as helping England to win the European Championship, Scott won the WSL with Manchester City and also played for Everton and Aston Villa.
Since retiring, Scott has become well known outside of football, most notably for winning ITV reality show 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' in 2022.
White is the record goalscorer for England women, scoring 52 goals in 113 caps for the Lionesses.
She also made 144 career WSL appearances for Arsenal, Notts County, Birmingham City and Man City, scoring 61 league goals - formerly a record.
The three women were inducted into the Hall of Fame at an event at the National Football Museum in Manchester on Monday evening.
