Sheffield United have bolstered their squad with the signing of English-born Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old, who impressed with 15 goals in 43 matches during a loan spell at League One side Charlton Athletic in the 2022-23 season, attracted significant interest from both Premier League and Championship clubs before choosing the Blades.

Rak-Sakyi becomes Sheffield United’s tenth signing this summer, joining other arrivals such as Sam McCallum, Jamie Shackleton, and Kieffer Moore. His addition highlights the club’s intent to strengthen their attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.

The talented winger, who began his journey in Chelsea’s youth setup before joining Crystal Palace in 2019, made his Premier League debut against Chelsea in 2021. He also gained valuable experience in the Football League Trophy and concluded that season with a standout performance, making his first top-flight start in Palace’s win over Manchester United.

Rak-Sakyi’s arrival brings added flair and creativity to Bramall Lane as Sheffield United aim for a strong season.
