Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has reacted to making 100 appearances for Premier League outfit, Brighton and Hove Albion.

The milestone was reached when the 23-year-old came on for the Seagulls as a second half substitute in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle United at the St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.

He was making his return from another injury spell on the sidelines.

Lamptey took to social media outlet, Instagram to express gratitude to fans for the support.

“Tough point away from home. 100 games for Brighton. Swipe to see the first. Thank you all for the support. Get back safe.”

He has played 86 out of 100 games in the Premier League, along with five appearances in both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.

Additionally, Lamptey participated in four matches during the group stage of the European competition, as Brighton made their way into Europe.

The former Chelsea youngster has 11 goal contributions for Roberto de Zerbi's side since his arrival, scoring two and providing nine assists.
