Inaki Williams is back in Spain as Bilbao gets ready to take on Iddrisu Baba's RCD Mallorca in two days. The striker had an eventful summer where he announced his nationality switch.

Inaki Williams's link to Ghana was a well-documented story throughout the summer and the way he dropped the much-awaited announcement added more excitement to the story.

In an interview in Spain explaining why he switched to Ghana, the striker indicated that this was a very good opportunity and he hopped on it.

"Trains only run once and I got on this one, which has more good than bad," he said.

"The decision has been mature and consensual with my family," he added.

Inaki Williams has made over 300 first-team appearances for the club, including a La Liga record of over 200 consecutive games.
