Tokyo 2020 qualifier: Three Sweden-based players to join Black Queens ahead of Kenya clash
Three Sweden-based players are set to augment the Black Queens squad for the Tokyo 2020 final qualifying round first leg tie against Kenya in Accra on Friday.
Ghanaian midfielder Ernestina Abambilla, who currently plies her trade with Swedish side Assi IF has arrived in the country and has joined the team in camp.
Sherifatu Sumaila of Mallbackens IF Djurgardens IF striker Portia Boakye are also expected to join the team in the coming days.
''So far am expecting three foreign players. Portia Boakye, Sherifa Sumaila and Ernestina Abambila- she is even on her way,'' head coach Mercy Tagoe told NB Sports.
The first leg encounter will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday as Black Queens eye qualification to the Olympic Games next year.
