Tottenham have signed China midfielder Wang Shuang from Racing Louisville on a deal running to 2026.

The 28-year old will join Spurs when the transfer window opens on 1 January 2024, following the expiry of her current contract.

An experienced international player, Wang has competed at three World Cups and earned 123 caps, scoring 46 goals.

Wang spent a season with Paris St-Germain in 2018-19 and has won four Chinese Super League titles.

Wang won back-to-back Chinese titles with Dalian Quanjian in 2016 and 2017 before her season in France.

She then returned to China, where she won a further two titles with Wuhan Jianghan University in 2020 and 2021 before joining Racing Louisville in 2022.

On the international stage, Wang was the only player to score for her team at the summer World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, while she has won the Women's Asian Cup as well as competing at the Olympics.
