Union Berlin has made an official offer for German-born Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache, according to Bild.

The Bundesliga club has reportedly offered between 3 to 4 million euros to FC Kaiserslautern for the center forward. However, this sum is unlikely to be sufficient for the Red Devils to release Ache.

While Sky reports that the offer was immediately rejected by the Palatinate team, Bild suggests that the negotiations are ongoing, with the final outcome still uncertain. Ache is considered crucial for Kaiserslautern's sporting ambitions, having already scored as a substitute in their recent match.

Financial considerations may play a significant role in the transfer. Kaiserslautern could be tempted by a substantial transfer fee, which would generate a significant profit for the club. Ache was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for 1 million euros in the summer of 2023 and has a contract until 2026.

The situation remains smooth, with both clubs weighing the sporting and financial implications of a potential transfer.
