Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp found the back of the net for the second English Premier League match running to hand his Crystal Palace side a narrow 1-0 win over FC Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

The two clubs were in action yesterday for midweek action in the English top-flight as they searched for the maximum 3 points.

In a match played at the Selhurst Park, Crystal Place got into trouble just after 16 minutes when they were reduced to 10-men after Mamadou Sakho was giving the marching orders.

Manager Roy Hodgson immediately opted for a change in tactics and personnel and brought on Jeffrey Schlupp to replace left-back Van Aanholt.

Following a goalless first-half, the Eagles who played with a man disadvantage went on to take a rare lead on the 76th minute to stun Bournemouth.

Black Stars asset Jeffrey Schlupp picked up a ball in midfield and went on a solo run before firing his effort into the back of the net to inspire the Eagles to victory.
