Wa All-Stars appoint John Painstil as new head coach

Former Ghana Premier League champions Wa All-Stars have appointed ex-Ghana international John Paintsil as the new head coach, Footballghana.com can report.

The 38-year-old will be in the dugout for the Wa based side in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season and will hope to make a flying start in his first managerial appointment.

Painstil has been preparing the team ahead of the new campaign for sometime now and his appointment comes as no surprise.

The former Fulham right-back was previously the assistant coach of PSL side Kaizer Chiefs.

He also previously played for Berekum Arsenal, Liberty Professionals, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, West Ham United, Fulham, Leicester City, Santos and Maritzburg United.
