WAFA have officially rejected Hearts of Oak’s offer for highly-rated defender Konadu Yiadom.

Yiadom was one of the standout players for the Sogakope based side in the just ended 2022/21 season.

The Phobians want to beef up their squad ahead of the upcoming CAF Champions League.

Yiadom had personally agreed terms with Hearts and was willing to join, however WAFA were reluctant and have finally refused an offer from the Rainbow Club.

Hearts of Oak were however able to sign Enoch Asubonteng also from WAFA who has been registered for their Africa campaign.

The Ghana Champions are expected to release the list of registered players for the CAF Champions League.

Gladson Awako, Agyenim Boateng, and Kofi Kordzi all made the squad which has already been presented to CAF.
