WAFU B U17 Tournament: Ghana's opponent Nigeria off to Togo

Ghana's opponent Nigeria are off to Lome, Togo ahead of the upcoming West African Football Union (WAFU B) U17 Tournament which starts from 5th January to 20th January 2021.

The five-time world champions arrived on Sunday morning from Lagos, with a squad of 25 players who are expected to pick the ticket from the WAFU tournament to represent the region in this year’s CAF U17 Cup of Nations taking place in Morocco.

The Eaglets are in Group B alongside Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.

Nigeria will face the Ivorians, at the Stade Municipal on Wednesday before taking on the Black Starlets in a potentially explosive encounter between two teams with eight world titles between them.
