We are grateful to all - GFA salutes Ghanaians for support in Central Africa Republic's victory

The Ghana Football Association has expressed immense gratitude to the football fraternity and Ghanaians at large for their support during the 2026 World Cup qualifying game against Central Africa Republic on Monday night.

Ghana cruised to a 4-3 win over the Wild Beats at the Baba Yara Stadium, courtesy Jordan Ayew’s hat-trick and a strike from Fatawu Issahaku.

The Black Stars are now top of the Group I table with 9 points after three victories and one loss in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

After the game, the Ghana FA gratitude to the leader of the country Nana Akufo Addo and his Dr Bawumia as well the Sports Minister and National Sports Authority for their support.

Additionally, the FA hailed Kumasi fans for the incredible support throughout the game as Ghana cruised to victory in the crucial game.
