Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo has expressed his displeasure about the club’s recent performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season following another defeat.

The Porcupine Warriors woes continued on Sunday evening at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, suffering their fourth consecutive defeat at the hands of local rivals Nations FC.

Forward Asamoah Boateng Afriyie headed home the decisive goal, marking his 10th of the season and solidifying his position as the league's top scorer.

“It was a difficult game and a very difficult situation. I think our players came to the party, they were well organized, disciplined and played according to our system and structure but it’s unfortunate, we didn’t get that needed goal but we played well, kudos to the boys”

The Porcupine Warriors has been in dismal form since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League, dropping from the top four to the 9th position after 23 matches.

Kotoko have picked just a win from the six games they have played in the second round, losing five in the process.

Per reports, coach Prosper Narteh, who has come under intense pressure has been given a three game ultimatum to turn things around.
