Chief Executive Officer of Nations FC, Alex Konadu says his outfit will not surrender their ambition to win the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League title.

Nations FC has become a force to be reckon with considering their exploits in their maiden participation in the domestic top-flight.

The Abrankese-based club are currently second on the Premier League standings with 45 points, seven points adrift of log leaders, Samartex.

Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Alex Twumasi emphasized his outfit will not give up on the Premier League title challenge.

“We are not giving up on the Ghana Premier League title. We have five games to end the season and considering the point gap between us the league leaders Samartex, anything is possible. So we are not going to give up. We will fight till the end”

“We know the opportunity will come for us. We’ve gone five games without a win which can also happen to Samartex, so we will keep pushing. I think inexperience is costing us”

Nations FC succumbed to a narrow defeat to Karela United in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League. Giyasu Ibrahim’s goal was enough for the home team to snatch maximum points in the game.

With no Ghana Premier League game this weekend, Nations FC are expected to take on Accra Lions in matchday 30 of the Ghanaian top-flight at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
