'We are pleased to get Montel Agyemang back' - Margate manager Reece Prestedge
Margate Football Club Manager Reece Prestedge expressed his delight at the return of Montel Kofi Owusu Agyemang to Hartsdown Park for the 2023/24 season.
The Ghanaian midfielder, who spent the previous season with Billericay Town, will once again wear the blue jersey of Margate, eliciting a positive response from Prestedge.
Upon the announcement, Prestedge conveyed his satisfaction with Agyemang's decision to rejoin Margate.
The manager wasted no time in reaching out to the talented midfielder, eager to discuss the potential reunion. Prestedge revealed that Agyemang had always cherished his time at Margate and believed it to be a favorable fit for his career.
“I touched base with Montel as soon as the season ended and he has always enjoyed his time here at Margate and it is a good fit and he was up for it so we are pleased to get him back.”
