Desmond Ofei, the Head Coach of Ghana's National U-20 Male team, the Black Satellites, has stepped into the limelight to share his thoughts on the upcoming challenge.

With the draw placing Ghana in Group A, alongside formidable opponents Benin, Congo, and the Gambia, Coach Ofei recognizes the gravity of the task ahead. The fate of the Black Satellites in this prestigious tournament, slated to unfold in Accra from March 8-23, 2023, has been etched in the matchups declared during the event in Abidjan on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

As the architect of Ghana's strategy, Coach Ofei now faces the responsibility of molding his squad to navigate the challenges posed by their Group A rivals.

“We are really working hard ahead of the tournament so we were not really looking at the draw because whoever we come up against I am sure we will be ready," Coach Ofei said after Thursday’s draw.

“You cannot underestimate any country. Its not going to be easy but a nation like Ghana cannot be afraid of any opponent,” he added.
