Berekum Chelsea tactician Samuel Boadu has apologized to the fans of the club following their defeat against Hearts of Oak in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League

The Phobians made light work of Chelsea at the Golden City Park to bounce back to winning ways on Wednesday afternoon.

Before this game, Hearts of Oak had gone six games without recording victory across the period.

Goals from Hamzah Issah, Linda Mtange and Kasim Cisse propelled the Ghanaian giants to snatch an important away win.

Speaking after the game, Boadu apologized to the fans after succumbing to a heavy defeat against his former employers.

“We are sorry for the defeat. We know they are behind us but I will urge them to keep supporting us. We will not disappoint them in our game against Kotoko” he said after the game.

Berekum Chelsea will play host to Asante Kotoko in matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League weekend. It is important to note that there will be no Premier League game this weekend due to the FA Cup semifinals encounters scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

The Bibires are currently eight on the domestic top-flight standings with 41 points after 29 matches.
