Augustine Okrah cancelled Peter Acquah's early strike to end the game 1-1.

Bechem United were denied a goal after assistant referee two ruled a goal scored by Okrah.

Speaking after the game, the former Black Galaxies assistant coach insisted his side could have walked away with all three points.

“I think the first half, we couldn’t control the game well because Bechem United when we can’t control the game, were are not dangerous. You saw that when we changed the system tactically and we started controlling the game, we were a far better team," he told StarTimes.

"We also tried to combine passes together, circulate them and also use them, especially with Okrah at the top, has good speed and you know he was using the speed very well.

“I think that overall, we have performed well after we changed the system, we were the better team, far better team, we created more chances.

"I think though it is a draw but I think looking at how the game went, we could have won the game," he added.

Bechem United who now sit 12th on the league log with 8 points will host Great Olympics in the matchday eight games at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Wednesday with kick-off scheduled at 15:00GMT.
