The head coach of Nations FC, Coach Kasim Mingle has expressed his delight after leading his team to defeat Accra Lions 1-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the highly rated coach said his team cruised to the victory because they wanted the three points more.
“I told you they are a very good side. They keep the ball we also keep the ball. We needed the points more than they need and fortunately for us we’ve got the points,” Coach Kasim Mingle said.
The game between Nations FC and Accra Lions was played at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Friday, May 17.
A solitary strike from Barimah Baah handed the hosts the narrow win at the end of the 90 minutes.
After the win, Nations FC are now second on the Ghana Premier League standings.
Accra Lions on the other hand remain third on the league table.
