Hearts of Oak’s Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo, has revealed that the club is looking forward to a better second round of the Ghana Premier League than their first round.

The Ghanaian giants will open their first round with a home game against RTU at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Phobians have won just four games out of the 17 they have played in the first round, drawing as many as 11 and losing four times.

Hearts of Oak currently sit 11th on the league table with 21 points, just four points above the relegation zone and 11 points of leaders FC Samartex.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game against RTU, Opare Addo urged fans to fill the stadium.

“We will be selling tickets at the gate so it means we want every Phobian to participate in this first game of the first round,” he told Asempa FM.

“How the first round went, we want the second round to be better than that.”
