We want to beat Dwarfs this afternoon – Kotoko coach Johnson Smith

Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Johnson Smith has stressed that his team will be going in for the win when they lock horns with Ebusua Dwarfs later this afternoon.

The two clubs are preparing for the start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season and have agreed to engage in a friendly encounter to test the strength of their respective squads.

Ahead of the match, coach Johnson Smith is giving it all the seriousness as he explains that he is eyeing victory against the opponent.

“We'll play for a win because result matters. We have trained the players on the transition of play from defense to midfield and to attack, and also on scoring. We want to see how they demonstrate these things in the game”, the gaffer is quoted to have said in a post on Kotoko’s official Twitter handle.

The match will be played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium this afternoon and will kick-off at 15:0GMT.
