The Moroccan national team may be forced to play without Noussair Mazraoui in their last World Cup game in Qatar.

The FC Bayern Munich full-back, who had been dealing with injuries throughout the tournament, is injured again before of Saturday's game for third place against Croatia.

Mazraoui remained in the changing room during halftime of the 2-0 loss against the French national team in the semi-final. This was due to a "small blow" suffered by the 25-year-old, according to national coach Walid Regragui.

"We have a few injured players, they all still want to play this game. But we won't take any risks," Regragui added.

Mazraoui 25, was a youth international for Morocco. He first played for the Moroccan national team in 2018.

On 24 May 2022, Mazraoui signed a four-year deal with Bayern Munich. This season he has made eleven appearances and assists three goals for German giants Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
