Yahaya Mohammed: Ex-Kotoko striker urge club supporters to back new board financially
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Yahaya Mohammed is urging supporters of the club to make financial contributions to help the newly constituted board to succeed.
Earlier this month, Mahyia Palace, the seat of the Asantehene of Asanteman inaugurated a 9-member board of directors with Dr. Kwame Kyei as the chairman.
The board is to serve as the highest decision-making body of the Ghana Premier League giants and have been tasked to ensure the club rub shoulders with the elite on the continent in the next couple of years.
Speaking to Light FM in Kumasi, Yahaya Mohammed has charged fans of the club to support the new board with monetary contributions to help them succeed.
“Kotoko supporters should mobilize themselves in contributing to help the new board. For instance, a stable mobile money contribution line for all regions for the fans to contribute", the Aduana Stars marksman said.
