Zidane is my role model- Priscilla Okyere
Black Queens midfielder Priscilla Okyere has revealed that she idolized former France captain Zinedine Zidane when she was a youngster despite the gender difference.
The 25 year old noted that she admired his style of play and wants to be like him in the future.
“I was watching Zinedine Zidane so I chose him as my role model even though I’m a female but I chose Zidane because I like the way he plays and anytime I see him play I love it and I see that passion so I wanted to also one day become like him,” she told CAF online.
She was also asked why she chose football as her career part and she said that it is something she loves doing.
“I play football for the passion because that’s what I love doing.”
Okyere currently plays for Lithuanian side Gintra Universitetas.
