English-born Ghanaian youngster Daniel Adu-Adjei scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner in AFC Bournemouth's 1-0 victory against Charlton Athletic.

In the tenth minute, goalkeeper Cameron Plain produced a tremendous stop to keep the visitors from scoring. Daniel Kanu was in a one-on-one position, but Plain stayed large enough to make a terrific block.

Charlton Athletic came within inches of scoring twice from corners, the first being a beautiful sequence that found Henry Rylah on the outside of the box but was hammered over. With the goal gaping, the second found Richard Chin unmarked, only for him to sidefoot wide.

Daniel Adu-Adjei came closest after halftime with a terrific individual effort, getting the ball on the run and changing onto his right foot inside the box, seeing his powerful drive crash against the post.

In stoppage time, Daniel Adu-Adjei scored after rising highest from a free-kick and powering a header into the corner.
