Zambian referee Hillary Hambaba has been selected to officiate the highly anticipated African Games men's football competition final between Ghana and Uganda.

The 37-year-old referee will be joined by an experienced team of officials, including Abdessamad Abertoune from Morocco as Assistant I, Rénovat Bizumuremyi from Burundi as Assistant II, and Abdulrazg Ahmed from Libya as Fourth Official.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has also appointed Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia as the Match Commissioner for the event.

The team of officials will be further complemented by Somalie Nasiru Sarkintudu Jibril, serving as General Coordinator from Nigeria, Juliet Bawuah, Media Officer from Ghana, Nick Owusu as Security Officer from Ghana, and Elmootez Belleh Dachraoui, Assistant General Coordinator from Tunisia.

The final match is scheduled for an 8 pm kick-off on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.
